It's hard to know who to root for in these things. You want the half-sane guy to win so the all the way insane Tea Party people will be sad. But you want the totally insane Tea Party candidate to win because it is sending the GOP off a cliff and because the insane Tea Party candidates are more likely to lose to Democrats. Probably not in Texas, but maybe they'd force the party to spend money to win here.
