I love the people in this thread declaring "SHOCKER!!!!!!!!!!!!" when this was widely considered to be the most predictable Oscars ever.

Hurt Locker will be forgotten in the years to come. Inglorious Bastards and Avatar will continue to be brought up as far a memoriable movies go.

Wow....talk about a downer. Hurt Locker is good, but nothing special.

Hated the presentation style of the main awards as well. I really don't wanna watch their friends complementing them. Show the freakin clips of the actors.

    Two thumbs down.

Avatar was really overrated in terms of the plot and acting. The hurt Locker definitely deserves the win. It was an amazing movie.

From AFA's point of view, I can see why Hurt Locker was a better movie than Avatar.

There really was not one great movie this year. Hurt Locker was a good movie but would not have won the Best Picture Award on most years.

I can understand why Avatar lost. It's the stupid voting system. I'm pretty sure Avatar got alot of 1st place and 10th place by some jealous idiots just piss off at Cameron and Avatar crushing the box office. While The Hurt Locker got it most point from 1st to 3rd places.

The Hurt Locker is a forgettable film. You watch it once you don't even care about it ever again.

I haven't seen the Hurt Locker but for the ones that have seen it, is it a lot better than Blackhawk Down?

Doesn't mean it was that good. There was nothing good or great about it. It was a safe movie.

It wasn't a bad movie, but at the end I was left wondering....so what? Really not a ton of plot or a real conclusion. It was just an accurate portrayal of war conditions over there. A good movie, but nothing special. Not something I would ever watch again.

you should take your sarcasm meter to the repair shop

stop agreeing with me, I don't like it
