2009 NBA Draft

    Now that I have had some time to think about it, I see this as an "either way" type of trade.

    I mean, if Lowry comes in here, and the Brooks/Lowry tandem excel, then we got ourselves a team. If they don't, the worst we'll do is miss the playoffs... which will give us that first round draft pick back.

    Considering the class is pretty weak this year (outside of Blake Griffin and a few other guys), who knows, maybe we can package that pick with a couple of players and bring in somebody really good.

    Either way, at this moment, I like what this team has to offer.

    Worst case is, we barely make the playoffs and embrace another first round exit. Anything exciting there?

    That's what the Grizzlies had hoped with him and Conley. Now...? He's back to where he came from: a late pick.
