I don't know if anyone's ever done this on here... maybe a stupid idea, but I thought I'd give it a try, If I get flamed for this, so be it.. came up with an idea of an Oscars thing that maybe people would appreciate... this thread is for nominations.. I didn't mean it like that.... just didn't think he would be the kinda person to do it... I actually thought I'd be getting some flaming from him for starting such a ridiculous thread.
Used to be done alot more before, but those were different times. The community was alot smaller, it was alot easier to judge posters and remember names. Now I would imagine there's so many damn posts/posters that it'd be ridiculous to properly list candidates/posts and have people nominate/vote on them. Hell I even remember when Clutch put up that list of "poster rankings" and we could see the breakdown of post per day/total posts and where you were ranked, lol good times.
Before he got a life, Manny would organize Best Poster tournaments that would put the NCAA to shame. Multiple rounds, seeding, sweet 16, final 4 -- the whole bit. What's up Manny? We're not good enough for you anymore?
i still send my 2002 silver medal for favorite poster in to get shined twice a week. that hard fought battle with shanna in the third round was epic.
