Yao/Deke Howard/Taylor JJ/Boki T-Mac/Sura/Boki Ward/Sura/Lue were going to be pretty solid at every position except PG. Its not much of a concern though because it seems like ward has got the picture. He knows hes not going to be the offensive go to guy so we wont have to worry about him jackin up ridiculous shots as the shot clock winds down. I also hope this solved that whole dribble dribble drilbble until the shot clock runs out. I think with this team we can play down and dirty just like coach JVG wants it. This team actually looks like they can make a run at the Trophy. Im so ready for the season lets get this thing started already.
Nope but i was bored and with the biggest action happening in Houston is signing Ward And Sura, i didnt think this would hurt, plus i dont see how we are not going to get mr mutumbo
I like our lineup too.. especially if we can move some our logjam and free up some roster spots. Ward/Sura/Gaines is definitely interesting.. Gaines getting the nod over Lue so he can develop) TMac/Sura/JJackson JJackson/Boki - this is the season for Boki to breakout. Howard/MoT/Spoon - I think we have a solid PF core but they are too similar in game. Yao/Zeke - 2 big foreign born centers .. I hope Yao learns a thing or two from Zeke about shot blocking and tough defense. J
I'm almost reminded of '94 Rockets Hakeem > Yao Chucky Brown/Amigo < J Howard/MoT Elie/Horry > JJ/Boki Drexler < T-Mac Sam/Kenny =? Ward/Sura/Lue I bet Rudy T would love to have this team back. And just like in the 90s, for years we'll be wishing we could find a way to upgrade @ the PG spot.
well i hope he jacks up a shot as the shot clock is winding down because otherwise it's a shot clock violation. definite advantage to sam/kenny. sam creates better than any of them and kenny was as good a shooter and more productive player than any of them.
