I agree, Tim Duncan. Maybe now they will give him some credit. Having David on his side doesn't help his chances. Rumor has it, David is too old now?

Shaq and Kobie cancel each other out.

ooooohh....good call with vince....he's definitely center stage this season with all the press toronto's getting right now. i know he was the espn "next" athlete last year, but anyway...

also worth mentioning: ai, cwebb, t-mac, duncan, shaq, kobe, or...

starting at guard for your washington wizards, number 23...

    :) ... heh

    Tracy McGrady.

Vince will just look better because he has Hakeem to clear the post for him. His scoring, if anything, will go down along with the rest of his peripheral numbers.

On the other hand, the addition of Horace Grant, Patrick Ewing, and the return of Grant Hill for the Magic should improve McGrady's shot selection and overall numbers - he will probably average close to a triple double next season.

will make his triumphant return from the Sudan and lead the NBA in all categories and take whoever it was that still has his contract to the Finals, or if not, Vince carter looks pretty good.

Shaq is "owed", barring injury he wins. Of course TD is "owed" too, but that is not fresh in the minds of the people that vote. TD easily should have won when Malone got the 99' hardware because those idiot reporters voted before the season was even complete. Over the last 20% of that season, TDs team secured the best record in the league, TD overall stats became better than Malone's, and it is was obvious to all when they played TD was the better player on the court. Malone's hardware was a "gift". Again though, all those lazy sportwriters had already mailed their ballots weeks before.
