i'm not sure what the mcCain reference is to- was there some sort of slur directed his way in 2000? if so, i missed it. there was no innuendo, i was asking in amazement, since i thought if Ms. Kerry were black i would have seen it remarked upon, you know, "potentially the first black first lady, etc...". in any case, the writer i quoted is black, so you tell me what that means....
