sorry in advance if this is on the second page, and im ruining your lives by starting another thread... i heard that bum charlie palilo talking today on 610 around 430pm about how memphis can still take our #15 if they still want to? is this true? when is the cut off for them to not be able to take the 15? the guys on the radio were acting like west was still interested in taking it.
Holden - my understanding, which could be wrong, is that Memphis can't just "take" the pick. The Rockets could offer it, but it doesn't meet the conditions of the pick in the deal so Memphis doesn't "have" to take it. If Houston offers it, Memphis could take it to fulfill that obligation. Both have to agree.
For the life of me, I can not understand why they keep reporting this. IT IS OUR CHOICE, not the Griz, of when we send the pick. Til 2003.
Charlie reported that we offered the pick to Memphis and that they are pondering whether they want it this year or next.
