That's odd, because I could have sworn this: was a request for an example. You're the one who said killing was killing, regardless of circumstance, further your the one who's equating kiling infants with aborting fetuses - as a consequence why can't I expand it to an adult? (even though I didn't). If there's no difference between the moral value of the life of a 2 month fetus and a 2 year old child - there is no difference between that of fetus and nursing home resident. No I don't ever believe I stated my own personal position nor did I ever cast moral aspersions on any particular practice. Many people disagree for various reasons. But you know this already. Great, of course by implication you've assumed moral superiority inthis thread so obviously it's not moot to you.
Sam, those broken up responses are difficult. My answers are in your quote. Also, had a great time sparring with you. I have to go now though.
I wondered the Same thing Rocket River we play semantics and then feel superior inside or out . .the child is dead
Most people would differentiate between abortion and infanticide. One is handled in a controlled manner when it's still debatable whether the fetus is considered life, but the other is just barbaric murder of a whole being. This is horrible. We're giving nuclear support for these people who probably still retrieve fire from lightning.
Rural India is one of the most stupid and backward places in the world. You can make whatever comparisons to abortion as you like. But the fact that the caste system is still strong and that infanticide is common practice is despicable. The ignorance that runs rampant throughout rural India is astonishing. This article just scratches the surface. No wonder once such a great civilization fell to any conqueror that came through it. They pretty much deserved to have their wealth robbed.
