I'm very excited, for the past 3 seasons I wanted the Rockets to make the playoffs and everyone of those times came up just short of the final playoff spot to land us that glorious 14th... pick. That number will haunt me, but doesn't look like we're going to have a late season collapse this time. Even though at this point in time we haven't clinched a playoff spot, I'm pretty confident we're in the playoffs.
With 6 games left this team could end up at 46 if they play .500 the rest of the way. Pretty amazing to think that the youngest and least experienced team in the league, with the most revamped roster, and a massive chunk of cap room available, would be so close to winning 50 games. I'm proud of this team Lin Harden Asik Parsons the BENCH EVERYONE !!! its been a while but glad there going to the post season Lin fans might get on my nerves somtimes but having this team in the playoffs is worth it ...lol GO HOUSTON ROCKETS REDNATION STAND UP !!!!!
Making it to the playoffs is going to be huge for this team. I don't care if they win or lose, but getting to see this team play this style of ball in a series will be fantastic. I desperately want to see who shows up, who doesn't, how they adjust to their opponent, and how they force their game on their opponent.
I guess this is where I post I HATE YOU COMCAST! Why!? Thanks for blocking out a major market out of one special Rockets season. Just so disgusted. I want to WATCH, not follow game time on my phone while I watch other games on League Pass.
You've jinxed it. Superstitions aside, it's a pretty awesome achievement when you consider just how inexperienced the entire roster is. You wouldn't realize it with the way there's an argument in nearly every thread though.
Looking back at this season was amazing to see!! All the doubters and nay sayers predicting us. Rockets played and shut everyone up and now we are respected and recognized!! 10 games above 500 something to be really proud of. Our future looks real bright!! Now the question is who will win a championship 1st at there current position TEXANS or ROCKETS!?!?!?!
This team is going to be so good in a few years. We still need another all-star caliber player, but if we keep this core I can still see us winning 50 to 55 games a year from now on.
Question: Has any NBA team (or any team) won a championship in 1st rebuilding year? I'm guessing the '97 Marlins or '03 Marlins...
