Thats not the 21 minutes he was talking about though. Thats way more than 3-4 looks. Mclemore probably gets 10-15 now. Id rather have house/gordon/tucker/carroll out there for the 25-30 each

Green gives Rockets 5th player that is elite low post defender and still switchable - Tucker, Harden, Thabo, Covington.

Bruno and Carroll may also be effective low post defenders too.

But Benny Mac has been our most consistent 3-point shot nearly all season.

In this new system, no one takes minutes away from anyone unless they are playing better. This extreme version of small ball is almost position-less.

I think the small ball thing might make him unplayable defensively in the postseason, but yea it'll be tough to lose his 3 point shooting. It's been a nice addition to the team.

My Spurs friends didn't really understand anything that happened with this move from Demarre getting signed and benched to getting bought out with 2 years left.

Tbh we couldn’t ask for two better options

from an insurance perspective this is beyond awesome.

I mean Green and Carroll?, the fact Is they can both contribute and might even be better then House

we already have Bruno and chandler for the bigs if needed

    we’re set!

I think Lonnie Walker got the minutes he thought he would get

Here are the minutes played this season so far. Adjusted for games played (54)

The Player column is ordered by total minutes played this season. Harden had the most.
Tucker and McLemore played the most games for Rockets.
For minutes per game, while Russ skips the b2b, of the games he participates in, he's 2nd highest in minutes.
RoCo just joined, but he's already high usage. (which expected, since Clint left).

    • Player | minutes per game this season
    • James Harden 37.08
    • P.J. Tucker 34.94
    • Russell Westbrook 36.02
    • Danuel House 30.98
    • Clint Capela 32.79
    • Ben McLemore 23.63
    • Austin Rivers 23.62
    • Eric Gordon 29.39
    • Thabo Sefolosha 10.76
    • Isaiah Hartenstein 11.57
    • Chris Clemons 8.79
    • Tyson Chandler 8.42
    • Gary Clark 11.78
    • Robert Covington 31.75
    • Michael Frazier 8.57
    • Ryan Anderson 7.00
    • William Howard 6.50
At least one of the games this season had overtimes.

This is another mistake if Reggie likes Houston. I take 29 years old Reggie over 33 years old Carroll. Carroll sucks.
    Reggie Jackson >>>> Carroll

I would take Reggie and trade Gordon for a good player in summer.

    Reggie Jackson > Eric Gordon

    Per 36 minutes:
Reggie: 20 pts, 7 assists, 37.8% for the three
Eric: 19 pts, 2 assists, 33.2 for the three

First of all reggie Jackson is ass cheeks.

Second of all so you not remember Westbrook hates Jackson ?

He is an awful player that thinks he is better than he is. Low IQ chucker to the max.

so you would keep gordon on the bench and play reggie who's horrible defensively instead of keeping gordon in the rotation and adding frontcourt depth which we desperately need

There is no way our best shooter is going to be out of the rotation unless others start shooting as well as he is or he stops shooting well.

rockets can get away with it in the reg season, but i anticipate him being out of the rotation come playoff time. his defense is just going to stick out like a sore thumb by then and with the rockets committed to small ball, its that much easier. its a good thing they got carroll and green
