I still cannot believe the decision to make the very junior defensive coordinator the new head coach, when our two key problems were that the defense sucked and that this team clearly needed a disciplinarian as coach.

According to Kyle Lowry, McHale was a disciplinarian. Probably the reason Harden fired him.

JB has zero chance of of coming back as head coach. Maybe he stays on as an assistant if the new coach wants him. But, I suspect that JB wants to get the hell away from the Rockets just as much as we want him gone.

 

Les is not going to pay two coaches to not work for him.
