What if we could add a high motor 6'6 rebounder who shoots 36% from deep?

His name is Demarre Carroll. And he could be easily acquired..... from the Houston Rockets?

Its surprising that we don't even get to see him in limited minutes in the bubble. Its a bummer to acquire a hard working veteran and positive guy and never get to see him, as a fan.

He seems like the forgotten man. What do we think, Clutchfans. I am counting on your backup quarterback syndrome here.

He's basically PJ Tucker. Its a shame we don't see him more, but whose minutes is he gonna take?

With that being said its refreshing to have such a solid bench. Even Ben Mac is having a career resurgence, as is Jeff Green. Just need to ship off Eric Gordon who is clearly washed. Maybe Carroll can take EG's minutes.

Not sure why there needs to be an article about how a benchwarmer deserves praise for...keeping quiet? I mean, is he supposed to be contentious about his playing time?

His tweets seem more passive-aggressive than innocuous, imo. No one is talking about him. No one is saying anything bad about him. Yet he feels the needs to say something about negativity or whatever, and that's he's grinding "despite the situation."

What situation? The fact that you're being paid lots of money to cheer on a contending team in one of the safest places in the US?

Bruh, just keep collecting checks. Your time will come if it comes.

I’m hopeful that he gets some pt tonight and going into the playoffs. He can help keep PJ and RoCo stay fresh if nothing else. I also want to see what Luc has left in the tank. I’d really like to see both DC and Luc back next season but that’s beginning to look very unlikely.

He didn't seem in great shape to play last time we saw him. If he's in good shape, would help I think. To be honest I had forgotten about him.

Jeff Green has been outstanding. When Jeff Green starts acting like Jeff Green again, Demare probably gets some more minutes.

I'd like Carroll to be getting some regular season minutes though.

Well, I didn't write the article, it just reminded me of him. Honestly I had totally forgotten. I'm not going to lead the Carroll fan club. I'm just a fan of seeing what you have out of a new acquisition. He didn't look that great to me in the first few games where he got PT, but he did have moments. One good point made in the article is that his rebounding could help in spurts when we're getting killed on the offensive boards and its leading to extra possessions. That multiplies the distance players have to cover and fatigue.

Only because Green has been pretty much amazing for us... he normally isn't like that though. Jeff Green usually gets hot for like 3 games then goes cold for 10 games. It pretty much defines his career.

However, ever since he rejoined Russ and Harden, it seems the wheel has turned.

    MDA system.

Green has never played smallball 5.

    System fit is important.

    So is coaching.

It's odd, hopefully there's some sort of 4d chess going here. Carroll can't give PJ Tucker some rest?

Kills me that CF still doesn’t get this. Morey and MDA value:

    Feel bad for him.
From Popovich's doghouse, took a buyout, to D'Antoni's doghouse.

Not saying the Rockets guaranteed him anything but imagine he could have stayed in San Antonio or simply went elsewhere.

Best of luck wherever/if you're playing next year.

You do realize that our bubble defense has been amazing right?

    Where have you been?
