Tired of this late game execution. Harden dribbles in one spot then no looks to the front crowd.

Really now, this is just bad basketball. At least give the ball to Harden in the post where he can make a quick move. Then again we didn't have a PG in the 4th....

Most important need isn't a PF. It's a second ball handler who knows how to take care of the ball. Jason Kidd, Chauncey Billups, or Andre Miller would've been great to have in the 4th quarter.

We have a closer, he just needs experience and time.

Meh as good as Harden is, I don't like him handling the ball as much as a LeBron or D. Wade.

He's not explosive enough to get in the paint and dish it out consistently.

We have a closer, it's Harden. We need to not go down by 26 points in the 1st half.

You have a closer what you need is a coaching staff that can put him in better positions and not just expect him to pull stuff out of his rear end.

The other issue with Harden is it helps when your best player is also one of your best defensive players.

He's no ariza but he gift wrapped two turnovers to the Thunder in our most crucial possessions.

    Pretty much this.

A "closer" is just basketball rhetoric.

Ideally, you want to put yourself in a position to not have to close out games. Getting more experience, more talent and more synergy will do wonders.

This team just needs time and a few magical offseasons.

What we need is for Harden to be put into more & more of these types of situations so that he can eventually figure it out. That is what we need. Why are people so quick to give up on players? Why can't Harden get better as a closer?

The other teams have closers too. Durant is closer than Harden, but Lebron is closer than Durant. MJ is the ultimate closer.

These guys still young, LeBron wasn't particularly good at closing just a while back.

    I agree 100%.

Expectations on this forum are totally out of proportion with what this team is actually capable of at their experience level and after only one year of playing together.
