    That won’t be a problem
He’s not being smart about it
If he doesn’t play nobody will care about him, he wasn’t that good . To get his message across he should play, then he would be in the limelight

he is basically the same as Collin Johnson if Johnson was healthy. And Johnson got drafted really late

Per 247, Eagles wasn’t the only one but majority of team was saying there are other ways going about it.

Marcus Washington is listed as his backup but don't think Black has been added to depth charts yet. We're also in contact with Alabama graduate transfer Tyrell Shavers. He didn't do much of anything at Bama but he's a 6-6 WR who clocked a laser 4.3 forty at The Opening a few years back.

he really needs to think about this logically.
he didn't really have that great of a year last year. A couple games that showed his potential.

when he's 40 and racism still exits while his peers have had great careers in the NFL, it's too late to realize he made a bad move.

Somebody needs to talk to Eagles here. If his end goal is to create change, he needs to build up his platform more to do that. Right now he's not exactly a household name. Have a couple good seasons at UT, go to the NFL, make some money, and only then make this move. He's way too early to go this route.

That would be awesome . We need a transfer for defense as well.

Well that was quick...Shavers to MissSt.

Herman is getting destroyed on the recruiting trail so far with only 3 commitments from Top 20 ranked players in Texas. Most notably, sounds like the Brockmeyer boys are leaning towards Bama big time right now. That's a monumental and embarrassing loss for Texas if this happens.

About them going to Bama or what it means for UT? Or just recruiting in general?

Eagles is their best returning outside WR, certain people are underselling him right now and assuming that someone else will be there.

Lots of talent in the slot: Smith and Whittington.

If they don't get the Brockermeyer twins then this year is good but not great. We'll see.

Don't forget about Tarik Black, the michigan version of Collin Johnson

Agree that it's early but recruiting on the offensive end has been abysmal so far. Part of the issue is that we're competing to get the Brocks and then are basically not competitive for anyone else at the moment. 2021 OL talent in Texas is the best it has been in years. We shouldn't end up with a haul of bread. WR also shouldn't be this hard to recruit, and I don't think our depth is adequate (which is why we went out and got Black). Some of the blame likely falls on Mehringer, who was apparently a disaster.

This. And while I think Texas has had much bigger issues with development vs. recruiting, losing out on legacy talent like the Brockermeyer's is a big punch in the gut. That being said, think a good season could go a long way for Herman and Co. But do believe it's put up or shut up this season.

Someone is going to step up this year, I'm exciting about the running backs more than the wideouts

you're not high on him? They had a pretty horrible offense at Michigan.
