Meh, I remember when everyone was excited when Joe Marciano was let go too. Texans Special Teams have sucked since ... well forever.

Special teams was bad pre-Izzo, not sure how much is his fault. Something is just off with the ST of the Texans. Butler and Devlin had horrible years after being decent the year before.

Sean Ryan has been the only assistant with some success. They better hold on to him.

I'm not "saving face" I'm pointing out the obvious that it seems some may have missed....I'm not worried about you being laughably wrong, that is just par for the course, but others who might have the wrong idea should get to hear the truth.

Jesus you are so lopsided... Denver wins with Brock Osweiler as best QB because Kubiak is an awesome coach not Wade or that Defense. Texans only won any games because RAC and the defense. Cmon man you are so full of it.

The problems you saw were kind of overstated. You thought starting him would be a mistake and your current stance on BOB mirrors your stance on Deshaun starting. You were sure that more likely than not he wouldn't be able to overcome these "problems"(most of his issue was footwork, looks more like he was just alittle nervy about the next level). So in essence yes you were wrong about Deshaun.

Having said all that what goes over most other posters is you admitted you were wrong on your stance and changed your tune. So mostly I'm just ribbing you alittle. And while I don't feel as strongly as you do about BOB, until proven otherwise he's incompetent.

This is exactly why you have another post saying "I hope BOB can fix all his mistakes by next year but he probably won't" You just set it up so that if we have a great year you can just say you were right about him and hoped he would do all the things you said. Then again, you will just praise Watson who you were in fact wrong about. Just saying he adapted quicker than you thought does not mean you weren't wrong in what you thought. JUST WINZ

No need. He has the right to vent just like everyone else. He's not happy because a long time ago he learned the definition of insanity..unlike Clueless Bob and little Cal.

How many times does it need to be explained?

Good special team units are built on quality depth and cohesive units. The fact that the Texans never have any of that basically has them using who should be ST players on the field for actual reps, while the ST guys are all practice squad and street free agent fodder.

    Per Bleacher Report

Not our most pressing need ... but I'd entertain the idea.

It's definitely a "need" though. A reliable catching outlet at the TE spot is huge.

Seriously. Pat was laughing at people who were concerned the OLine would be bad. He gets some good info out there obviously, but everything needs to be seen through the prism of "huge fan." He's on the level of John Harris.
