You should have heard Chris berman's radio call when Boston made the final out. Embarrassing how bias that guy is. Basically said Houston like 3 times "is going to the ALCS". Like he couldn't believe a team that won 100+ games was advancing in the playoffs.

I too see home field advantage being a much bigger factor than the difference in quality between the Yankees and the Indians. I would give a slight edge to the Indians, but both teams are incredibly tough.
Okay, now makes sense. Indians finished 11 games ahead of NY. Their 22-gamer is almost as unbelievable as their 4-month meander before the streak.
