Very professional and measured response. I look forward to hearing more takes from the pros in this.

Seems so right that this type of thing go down with the Mavs after the last few seasons of gloating and ribbing Cuban has directed at the Rox.

Interesting that most of the pros who have commented on the matter don't hold it against Deandre. It seems it is mostly the talking heads and fans driving the vitriol.

I've always liked Tyson Chandler from the time he was drafted by the Bulls. Remember when people thought he was a bust after a couple of years in the League? He's really matured into a really serviceable player.

    He sure out-lasted Eddy Curry.

Tyson reminds me of how dominant Dwight was in the playoffs. Made him look like an irrelevant scrub.

I think because many of them are told when they are released or traded or not resigned they are told "It's just business brah."

I'm surprised that he wasn't upset at the Mavs for not retaining him TWICE now even though he was a key part of their team in both instances, and in my opinion both times it was a major mistake for them...

Parsons recruited his replacement while they were still on the same team. Not surprising he's happy he failed.

He slipped the "he's a good dude" in there though...not as bad as it sounds. Tyson just knows how things are by now and knows how to play the business side of the NBA.

Problem with Parsons is, he's trying to act grown in the NBA, when he's still a teen in NBA years.

Pros aren't tripping on Jordan's decision, they're tripping on his dodging Cuban. And rightfully so. Complete punk move to not tell DAL's owner.

Mark Cuban sure was upset when Deandre didn't call the Clippers, a team he's been with for several seasons, to inform them of this verbal agreement with the Mavericks. I heard he was furious and DEMANDED that DJ do the right thing and call either Steve Ballmer or Doc Rivers.

    Oh, wait................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ . .

Sorry, I didn't hear DeAndre had already agreed to resign with LAC before agreeing with DAL.

I also didn't hear LAC was trying to contact Jordan and he dodged them.

I think its because the pros know how big of a decision it is to change teams, change homes, change teammates and leave what has been familiar.

It's a huge decision to make.

I don't blame DJ for changing his mind at all. I think most of the "real" backlash he has gotten is due to him not owning up to his change of mind and not telling the Mav/Cuban about it.

Not answering Cuban's calls or calling him to tell about your change of heart is really immature. There are teenagers with more maturity than that when they leave college they committed to for another.
