This is the Rockets version of the Carlos Beltran signing. Anything he provides on the court will just be a bonus to what he brings off of it.

Can he still play? Is he better than Nene at this point?

I don't like to play fair!

I forgot maybe the most important point.

chandler plays the same game as capela. PnR rim runner / lob catcher on O, shot blocker, rebounder, switcher on D. although chandler is passed his lob catching, switching on to guards days, he can mentor clint in ways nene couldn't. nene's game was totally different on both ends of the court from Clint's. chandler will get a lot more out of capela as a mentor.

Finally. He's been on the radar for awhile. Great for depth.

Hmm. Maybe he previously had trepidation of spending the twilight of his career getting barked at by CP3. Westbrook trade is already paying off.

Good to see you posting Cod, hope you're doing well.

You talked about TC being a target for years, I'm hoping we chase after another name you brought up frequently over the years in Marvin. Have you heard anything about him lately?

Oh, and what happened with Nene? If you have time to share.

Wait if they've been recruiting him for weeks and he only decided after WB was traded, was the decision in part based on CP3 vs. WB for him? or is that too much of an inference? I'm trying to read between the lines here.

Say what you want about Westbrook but players seem to like him for some reason.

Not sure who's the better player at this point, but at least Chandler can still play two consecutive games without risking an injury.

Nene is at a point now where he should just retire and explore a few years in the Big 3.

We've now improved at the PG position and depth at the C position. Can't get any stronger at their SG positions so our focus has to shift for the F's. PJ needs help!

Paul George flat out says Westbrook is one of the most inspirational and positive people he's ever been around in his entire life. The criticisms of him on the court are all perfectly valid, but it seems like off the court, Brodie is a legit great guy. I'm sure he'll have his run-ins with the media, but Houston local media is soft, so I don't really expect any fireworks in the press conferences.

We got 2 elite passers who can throw the lob and now we got a decent back up lob threat to add with our elite lob threat.

CP couldnt blow by his guy and Nene couldnt catch a lob. Westbrook and Harden can both blow by their guy and now Chandler can keep the lob threat going.

That will create havoc. Now surround that “pick your poison” pick and roll with decent 3 pt shooters and you got a helluva team. Ego and Green can shoot. PJ loves that corner. House had a nice shot going.
