A man cheating on his wife is a impulsive decision. However, I don't care about Kobe's personal marriage issues. A woman accusing a NBA athlete of rape, bragging about sleeping w/ him to friends a few days later, all while lying to police & her own lawyers regarding the details, is mental illness.

All this fake outrage against LeBron ... The Kobe memorial should be about Kobe and remembering him. Not using the moment to go after other people that you may otherwise have issues with. We are so fixated on what public figures do in public, when we know almost nothing about what's going on in their personal lives. Maybe he had something else that was meaningful to him and that occupied him at the same time. If so, there's nothing wrong with that. And he's not obliged to share details about it with others, either.

He wasn't a personal hero to me (I don't revere sports players, but appreciate them), but the dude was a hard worker, and wanted to be the best, so I can respect him for that. I most regret that he not only died young (yes, 40 isn't that old), but that his daughter also passed, and, frankly, in abject terror. But that reminds me of so many others who pass the same way and are largely unheralded. Life is precious. I can believe on what to expect in the next world, but since I'm not 100%, I want to make this one count.
