The lovable Starters show held their 4th annual Startie awards. They presented tons of categories, but we notably stole the show with victories in:
COTY: D'antoni (over Stephens, Pop, Spoelstra)
6MOTY: Lou Will (over Ego, Z-Bo, and Enes Kanter)
MVP: Harden! (Over the usual suspects)

Very thankful for the wisdom of the Starters crew!

They should have gotten a vote, they've always been pretty objective. I was surprised to see Harden win MVP, I thought Leigh was leaning Westbrook.

Do they get a vote? Otherwise... happy the Rockets are getting recognized, but not much to see here.

I don't think so. 3 out of the 4 said Harden.

But the lady who hosted their show (Kristin Ledlow) has one. She voted for Westbrook.

I thought the starters were Pro-Westbrook a couple weeks ago. Glad they saw the light.

To be fair though, each of them voted on a different coach and the tie was broken by the fan vote. 3/4 picked Harden, which was nice. 6th man is where everyone voted for a rocket (of course) and Lou edged out Gordon.

Skeets (..and the fans) voted Westbrook...and he also voted Spoelstra COTY. Inexplicable. I was scratching my head over some of his votes.

Tas made the best case for his Harden vote, discussing how the triple double average is just an illusory stat-line. He compared Harden's numbers and said his impact is greater. All in all, show is worth a watch. I also enjoyed the fact they picked Gobert over Green for DPOY...fans did too I think

It's a show that airs on YouTube and NBA TV I believe. I just watch it on YouTube; it's daily. It's entertaining. You can tell the guys are having a ton of fun and it's contagious
