Just about everyone in the NBA (except for fat bums whom fall out of the league in a few years like T-Jones) has a work ethic alien compared to the average person, how else are they considered one of the 450 best basketball players on the planet? Work ethic in the NBA isn't exceptional, its a prerequisite. The best way to measure the effectiveness and/or the amount of work a young player puts in is simple, compare their sophomore season to their rookie season. Ingram, Brown, Murray (both Jamal and Dejonte), Sabonis, and Dunn have all improved drastically over their rookie seasons, both in volume and efficiency. Maker is putting one more point per game, on reduced efficiency, in double the minutes. His growth so far resembles Dragan Bender more than Brandon Ingram. Clint Capela, who you still say is a sub-par defender and an offensive lability, went from a D-leaguer in his rookie year, to one of the best backup centers his second year, to an extremely valuable and efficient role player his third year, to a borderline all-star this year in terms of impact on winning, all while adding nearly 45 pounds of muscle while maintaining a similar body fat % in his 4 years.

But if a couple of videos of Maker shooting jumpers while Kevin Garnett yells at him is good enough for you, than so be it.

The unintended irony of defending yourself in the worst post of the week thread...

He should probably sit this one out. Quit while he's behind.

    Yes.

Now answer mine. Do you expect Rockets to win this year, despite having James as the primary ballhandler?

Going back through some old material, I found this one after we had drafted Jeremy Lamb which is quite ridiculous...

So, I don't know you or the quality of your posts, and so therefore I'm indifferent here. But I would like to know, what Rockets insider info have you broken that wasn't already reported elsewhere?

If that's claimed, I just would like to see the evidence. Opportunity to gain points with more CF posters like me!

He is right, in 2024 we will compare Lamb to Jordan and Kobe and conclude that Jermey Lamb sucks.

I broke the D-Mo news first and Woj confirmed it hours later. You'll see Woj's tweet confirming the news on a later page in the thread if you scroll through the thread. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/d-mo-failed-his-physical.279152/

I'm 99% sure that post is tongue in cheek, if you know Jontros post history.

That's not how you evaluate growth. Sorry. This is precisely why people like you are touting Capela as a star. When he is not.

Capela is not a star. But he has a "ceiling" to be a star. I mean, just look back at that NOP game vs AD as an example.

Being a "star" though means "consistency" and "consistency" is not what Capela has shown....yet. Will he? I don't know. But what IS known is his ceiling is there. And not every player has that "ceiling."
