basically this trade is going nowhere because Money is too smart to overpay and the Knicks aren't stupid enough to take Anderson. Zach really believes that Demarre Carroll is better than Ryan Anderson....

Most of it is dumb but here's relevant info:
-Lowe not convinced any 4 team deal ever existed
-Begley says the knicks don't like any deal they've been offered. Trying to pressure Houston to make a better deal
    -knicks don't want melo back

Lowes best guess is that all that is happening is morey is running hypothetical scenarios and being creative with lots of effort but that no trade was ever constructed

Hmmmm...Lowe suggests that maybe morey is just putting forth a show effort to get melo to make cp3 happy and that they may never make it happen

I don't understand what the Knicks are doing. They don't want Melo but they're dragging there feet about trading him? Wouldn't it be smarter to trade him sooner rather than later so your franchise can move on and focus on rebuilding? This is getting ridiculous.

Lowe has independently confirmed that Portland has no interest in facilitating a deal

They have not been offered a workable deal. They don't want him but they don't want a worse player on a worse contract

I was waiting for y'all's cliff notes! :p

    Thanks @justtxyank

Not that I don't think it will happen but I'm tired of listening/reading because it's all the same stuff now. Everyone just putting their own "spin" on it.

    Knicks don't like the offers
Knicks don't really want Melo though
    Melo wants Houston or Cleveland
Gotta find a taker for Ryan Anderson
One source says a deal is close; another group of sources says nothing is imminent.
    blahblahblah

I mean, what's really new? How many times can you hear the same thing said by 10 different people?

    More pod cast cliffs notes:
No teams are really clamoring for Anderson
Rockets are skilled in pulling off difficult transactions with hi reward - CP.
Rockets not including Ariza, Cap, or Gordon in deal
Portland is not helping out and if Portland is involved it's ONLY to get Melo
Don't think Melo open to go to Portland

Begley is connected to the players and he insists that melo is not going to go to Portland

At some point they're going to have to hold their nose and swallow. You really can't be picky about the deal when your guy has a no trade clause which basically allows him to choose where he wants to go. Not to mention the fact that Phil did a masterful job at killing his trade value.
