Because it’s Utterly stupid and doesn’t solve anything And it’s the dumb casuals that can’t see what the real problems are.
But it's still better than doing nothing. Potential failure is a better option than guaranteed failure.
There's nothing that can be done about the real problems until the offseason. Even then, it's unlikely. In any case, the focus should be on tonight. What adjustments can the Rockets make tonight?
Yet you seem to be advocating that Harden not do anything when he doesn't have the ball. Seems counter-intuitive.
Apparently, he needs to stop quitting and compete. And to accomplish this, when he doesn't have the ball, he should stay perfectly still. If he masters the ability to stand incredibly still, he'll become invisible to the eye....moving so slow that he becomes imperceptible. And then he'll steal the Lakers inbound pass. Brilliant.
Harden is overrated and not a true super star. There are this type of players that excel in the regular season but when the playoff comes, facing stronger teams, tougher defense and specifically designed counter strategies, they shrink and disappear. The bigger the moment, the worse they play. Only real great players can overcome the tough challenges and carry their teams on the big stage.
You are missing the point, Hakeem could not do it alone. The guy was having monster perfomances in the playoffs but could not get it done due to having teammates who simply were not good enough and that opposing teams simply were better. That is the exact same thing with Harden, he is performing at a super star level year after year but still the Rockets are losing. It's funny, not even once in these 8 years did Harden play with a superior team and lost in the playoffs minus the game against the Spurs. And he still did not have a teammates good enough to do any real damage in the playoffs.
Haha, straight dumb. Lets act like Harden did not almost lead the Rockets to a series win against the greatest team ever put together in 2018.
It is not hate. It is disappointment that a man as talented as him is not also a leader. His failings are mostly his fault this is the team he wanted. it is on him. DD
