DJ Gillins, the top dual threat QB in the country in the class of 2014 (#40 overall). He's out of Florida and specifically said he does not want to stay in-state. Kid looks like a monster. http://247sports.com/Season/2014-Football/RecruitRankings?InstitutionGroup=HighSchool
Damn. Tuberville is at it again. Curious as to why he chose Tech out of all places coming from Florida.
Yeah, it was always amazing to me that he was recruited by Tech so early in the first place. But, he runs the exact same system in high school as Tech does and he said that since his freshman year, he's had his eye on the Red Raiders. Regardless of why he chose us, I'm just pumped! 2014 is going to be a monster year in recruiting, IMO. We have him and Jakari Dillard, a 4-star WR from Princeton, TX, committed to us already. Keep the momentum going
Decent troll. Not worth biting though. Tubs is, and will continue to be, coach of Texas Tech! :feelsgoodman:
I thought I heard Swoopes is a great athlete, but plays like crap as a QB....actually sounds perfect for texas.
Well, if he runs better than he can throw, that's fine with me. 247sports has him listed as an athlete instead of a QB.
Y'all obviously don't follow recruiting. Scout is absolute trash. On both 247 and Rivals, easily the 2 best recruiting sites, he's a top 100 player in the country. I'm sorry y'all are jelly, but the guy is a stud.
