pretty sure its not a hoax ... they've had a lot of videos and they were also featured on The Early Show on CBS or something and they said they had some video people look at it and they all believed they were real.

I think its just a matter of having enough skill/strength to be able to get close, and then doing it enough times to where you get lucky once.

Still amazing as the curve on that ball is ridiculous with that wind.

As an Aggie, it is sad that this is the first time something A&M related at Kyle Field has made the Sportscenter Top 10 in September in a long time :(

Ya the last time we saw Kyle Field on Top 10 Larry Fitzgerald was catching touchdown passes with his eyes closed.

Oh man, I remember being there for that. Back then, I thought it would be impossible for things to get worse.

Nice. The last time A&M got this much attention from a video was this:

    <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/nmEAo-nzBgY&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/nmEAo-nzBgY&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

It's fine if some think it's a hoax, it lets these guys stay in the spotlight to promote their cause a little longer.

Obvious fake, notice the velocity of the ball right after contact. Aerodynamics of a basketball are very different from that of a golf ball. There is reason for those tiny cuts on the surface of a golf ball. The drag on the surface of a basketball would cause it to lose speed very quickly and drift off its trajectory. Thats why they used a shaky cam to insert the last portion with the ball swishing through the net.

um, yeah, two girls in my class were there during the filming and they said it was legit and took a bazillion tries.. also notice PJ Holmes and the other basketball player down there. sorry to break it for you, but it's real.. So quit pulling your aerodynamic schtick and start believin..
