I think the Texans should extend O'Brien's contract again... because why not attract more negative attention.

lol...classic. that explains the Aaron Hernandez and baby mama reference.

I mean, WTF???? Hopkins have never been in trouble with the law. This is straight up racist. How does the League, the owner, Deshaun Watson allow this racist stereotype to go on???

If he wins 9 games and another division he might be made part owner.

So you went from defending O'Brien and speculate that it was just "fatherly advice" to pivoting a scenario where Hopkins got traded and is indirectly calling out racism because he didn't get his money? Did I interpret that correctly?

I totally agree. The trade was 25 cents on the dollar.

O'Brien should have just explained that no one is going renegotiate with 3yrs left, play out this season and we will see what we can do for you next offseason after the cap situation is a little clearer with Watson and Tunsil. And if Hop still wanted to holdout let him.

I'm not a O'Brien supporter but Hopkins isnt innocent here. He doesn't practice as much as they want him to, he wants a new contract 2 yrs after signing his current deal and is bringing his baby mama drama to the job.

Hopkins' statement continues to show me what type of guy deandre really is. Even after everything that went down, he is still holding back o'brien from going after that fan, so to speak. true leadership.

please don't bring up the there's both parties at wrong argument to defend this sht trade. Regardless of if the player fked up or not, the GM's job is to competently sell or trade for assets with a positive value. BoB fked up and his big ego is going to screw over our franchise.

Until u get that through your head, u are really just being in denial about being a BoB defender. There's literally no defense for this sht trade.

We are not a daycare or swingers club Brian! We are a professional sports organization! We are a football team Brian! When they walk in this building, they need to be 100% focused on football! It's not bring your kid & baby mama to work day. I'm not gonna have it Brian! If they're gonna do that, they're not gonna be on my football team! I'll have them out of here quicker than they know, even if it means cutting them or trading them for a 4th round pick. I don't care how good they are Brian!

Anybody want to bet Will Fuller gets $12-14 Mil per when his contract comes up to play in half the games?

Here's an idea - dont pay an average WR $10 million per, dont pay the most inconsistent CB in history $14 million per, dont pay an aging olb $12 million per and dont pay a well below average center $6 million per and you can afford to pay the best WR in the league $20 mil per.

    It's them! Not me Brian!
Rick Smith, Brian Gaine, Chris Olsen, the rest of them, they can't get along with me! Not my fault Brian!
Get in Bob O'Brien's doghouse, you're gone.
