That was under Kubiak, BoB changed that his first year. Honestly don't think it's a big deal at all, these guys are pros and they're staying at a resort.

That place has a decent little casino (tries to make it classy) and nice golf course.

I'm not sure why you're trying to paint this as if the Texans players are getting shipped off to Junction, Texas. The place is a 5-star resort with every amenity on Earth. Chances are the players' families will be allowed to join them for a certain period of time as well. Yes, it's a bonding experience for the team. No, it's not going to cause them to go into Lord of the Flies mode and kill each other in a delusional haze. Bill O'Brien has no interest in creating a toxic environment for his players.

Never said it was. But saying it's "uncomfortable" and "rigid" is laughable.

Is it going to be open to fans, I'm only 3 hours away?! o_O

Went to the one here in Richmond, VA and was able to get my JJ. Watt jersey singed. It was pretty cool.

    Fewer distractions. Weather.

Lots of teams go on the road for training camp.

This is what the local radio guys were saying yesterday. I laughed, these guys think so highly of themselves it's ridiculous. I don't think it has anything to do with the local press. The Greenbrier is really nice. Not a bad place to spend a couple of weeks.

I probably won't. I usually only stick to the Cleveland, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh games. Unless I get a four day weekend...

So when will the team actually come back to Houston for good? After the 4th preseason game? Or during preseason games are they really going to come to Houston, play the game, and fly back to West Virginia? Huh?
