    Don't need sources. If you believe the Rockets offered 4 first-rounders for Butler, then you've already assumed his camp sent clear signals he would re-sign here. Otherwise the offer made no sense.

    Wolves are exceptionally smart! If Rockets or Heat are smart too, then the deal won't go down for these two teams.

    A: Wolves asked all teams to improve the rosters, smart.

    B: Wolves want to the deal that can help them make the playoffs, very smart

    C. Wolves want to include Dieng Contract so that they can get two good players which are equal to Butler/Dieng capability.
    exceptionally smart.

    So not only are we looking at engaging multiple teams, we're also engaging multiple sports to get this deal done. Signing Thomas is the tipping point according to my sauce(s).

    Murray playing chess instead of checkers. Murray made that deal to acquire Thomas to the Texans. This is why he's a top GM.

    Need 4 teams if including Dieng,

    According to reporter from Kings, Kings would ask for 2 firsts from Heat if they take Dieng Contract. Kings are unable to offer a good player to help Wolves make the playoffs.

    Need 6 teams if including both Dieng and Knight.

    Wolves are exceptionally smart by including Dieng in the deal so that they can get 2 good players.

    Heat exceptionally     smart by including Waiters or Kelly O in the deal, and allow Dieng to go to 3rd team.

    Rockets are exceptionally smart by including Knight in the deal.

    Mission Impossible!
