Ask yourself this: Would you be okay with Hakeem being traded to the Jazz, Spurs, Suns, Lakers or even the Mavs?

That's what Dirk means to that team and to their fans.

    Never in a million years.

That said, given the fact that Dirk can't defend a mailbox at this point I'm totally okay with that.

    ....we don't speak of that.

And even if it were to happen, Toronto at least isn't a historic rival of the Rockets.

Really?? Why would we want Dirk? Seriously?? He used to be great, that is for certain, one of the all time greats, but would getting him today get us over the top? The guy is a defensive liability and offensively he is just not that great anymore, i am not saying he would be useless or a bad signing, but i just don't think he would be nearly as important as he once was to the mavs.

Also this is not happening anyway so i even think its embarrassing that we are discussing it in clutchfans, Cuban would prefer to send Dirk to rot in freaking Milwaukee before trading him to us.

I blame this on les Alexander.
Pay him for his last season, suck for one year and get another high draft pick.

Don't care if dream averages 5 points a game.
He's done more than enough that anyone else ever will.
