It’s obvious, Ryno getting paid a crapload, is a starter, blah blah blah but Gerald Green is a player who wasn’t employed for months but now has been playing like a perennial 6th man off the bench all star and has teams across the league scratching their heads wishing they picked him up.

Gerald Green is a poor man’s McGrady! Shame on DanTony if he doesn’t give minutes to him after Ariza comes back

Pretty good comparison...his shot even looks similar. There are games where he is just flat out amazing. He gets a lot of elevation on his jumper.

Green is an assassin. When he is on, he is really on, instant offense. He can also shoot himself out of the lineup. His role is perfect. Not a starter. When Ryno is "on," he brings several skills to the table. He is a decent defender, good rebounder, and scorer. He is big and strong. Green is a feather. Love Green though. Really great leaper.

Green has been amazing, however I love Rhyno, tough choice... would like to see Green play more minutes before deciding...
I want to see more dribble penetration from both putting it on the floor and finishing at the rim tho

Ryno can play the 5 . green can't. Sounds crazy but ill take Ryno's defense over Green any day.

Ryan Anderson elicits such a visceral reaction on clutchfans, I'm surprised this thread is still on page one.

Some fans have unrealistic expectations. I view contracts as gambles based on current and projected market in addition to how badly we need the player's skillset. This year his passiveness has been frustrating, but if he can get back to being aggressive again, I really like him on our team.

They both are valuable to our offense. Ryno is a true floor spacer and the opponent must guard him at all times after he pass the halfcourt because of the range he has from anywhere on the court. Gerald is an instant scoring machine off the bench. I like his energy and how fast he can score points within our offense. Green is fun to watch. I wish Ryno shoot the ball little more rather than passing up open shots.

That feather is a much much better rim protector. Much more consistent triple threat than Ryno too. Scorer's mentality, length, dribble and hops allows him to score from anywhere on court.

    Ryno is better rebounder tho.

Which is more valuable? Easy...Anderson. We have plenty of fire power at the wing position. If Anderson can turn it on it makes us just THAT much more dangerous.

The original question has nothing to do with money. Ryan Anderson doing what he is good at is way more valuable than green doing what he is good at because we have several players who do what green does better.
