Thank you Ryan for being part of and contributing to the best team we have had in over 2 decades. I still wonder what would have happened if both Ryno and Luc had not gotten injured before the playoffs. Good luck and best wishes moving forward.

I know he hasn't contributed so far, but why waive him on such a small contract? Is he really impacting the payroll / cap space that much? Is this because of a certain date before his contract becomes guaranteed?

We could have used him in case of injuries

    WELP.
$80Mil should help soften the blow.
I'd be wearing a smile and planning a trip to circumnavigate the globe

He gave us what he could. Had some memorable moments.
I still remember that 'slam' against the Suns?. LOL

Best of luck on your retirement Ryno. I'm guessing you won't even
be able to spend that amount of money (unless you hook up with Steve Francis)

This isn't all that great news overall for the team.

Whatever, he really didn't have his heart in it anyway..... not that I blame him, his wife is one of the most naturally beautiful women I have ever seen and from people that know her, she is supposed to be a really good person.

So he is 31 years old......... has made over $100,000,000 dollars, is in excellent health and tall, has an absolutely beautiful and supporting wife, has lots of friends and a beautiful child.

Sounds to me like Ryan has it REALLY good..... and he is a great guy on top of it.

    His game is mentally broken.

At some point Nick Anderson happened to him.

I have no idea what Rockets were thinking re-signing him.

Yes. His contract starts escalating soon (in terms of guarantees) which means a bigger hit against the LT

This is a surprise. Is someone filling his role?
