    It's great that our revisionist history has completely accepted not only the fact that Jordan came back and lost to the Magic in the playoffs (made a crucial turnover at the end of game 1 or 2 to Nick Anderson that cost them the game and likely the series), but also the fact that we have completely accepted this myth that Jordan went to play baseball all on his own accords.

    Anyone who closely followed the sporting world in the 90's would tell you that Jordan was suspended for gambling, and that baseball was the front to prevent any blemishes from staining the NBA's golden boy while the league was finally globalizing (in large part thanks to Jordan).

    This is why I laugh when newbie Rockets fans call what Barkley says about the Rockets as media disrespecting the Rockets.

    No, the real disrespect was disrespecting championships.
