I don't have strong feelings either way on Lue. It's hard to separate him from LeBron, I'm interested to see what he'd do with a guy like Harden.
Looks more like the tweet said they would consider both, not either. In other words, "here are 2 more people on the list", not "it's between one or the other". I'm not really sure I want either. I want new blood at head coach (Silas, Finch, etc) unless you can get better talent (meaning : add meaningful tallent to the current talent and actually use them), but that's just me.
T lue can become assistant coach in clippers, actually Houston can employ both of them. If it can only choose 1, I think I will choose T Lue because he has championship experience. But I really love JVG defence
Sam Cassell will motivate you. Ty Lue holds you accountable, beaten the Warriors in the Finals for a Championship. Knows how LeBron plays. Jeff Van Gundy will Demotivate you, and quit on you like 2 Game 7 losses Ask Tracy McGrady.
Sam deserves a chance jvg? I remember the Tmac. Yao and Steve Francis days We couldn't get out of the first round of the playoffs I understand these newbs don't know this because they are on TikTok and not paying attention in history class
Who you calling newbie you....?Just because I joined in 2014 doesn’t make me a newbie. Watch your mouth little man
If true I am guessing they go with JVG. As much as I think Sam would be the better choice I am guessing the Rockets will want a veteran coach for Hardens remaining years.
Just get someone that actually takes control of the team. Demands defense. Expects improvement. Also expends time and energy to work on improvement. Makes adjustments. Isn't willing to capitulate to any player. I just find it hard to believe that in the entirety of humanity given the billions of dollars of value at stake, a coach can't be found that can do that while simultaneously keeping the respect of the players.
