again you're assuming that all of this is a choice of the Rockets. We don't know that. It could very well be something Beasley wants to do for his own reasons and his career. If you think Beasley is just established now and doesn't still have to prove to the league he does indeed belong you're mistaken. A handful of games from a desperate signing doesn't do that

Beasley is just trying to get in shape early and have a great contract year. Now that team owners are just flushing money out of the toiled with average players, it makes total sense for him to try getting PAID.
First of all, the Rockets hold his right next season, its NOT up to him to choose another team and whether he need to show case himself or not, its the Rockets' decision to allow him to play in the summer league or not, regardless if that will be his initial request. My point being this : if he was your second best offensive option last season (in the second half) and you are (Rockets) still not confident if he is good enough to be in your team this coming season, that says a lots about how shltty you current roster it is.
What are you taking about. Yes we know beasley is playing for the rockets this coming year and you do realize its bascially for free based on the new cap. The point is he stll has a lot to show to prove he still belongs in this league beyond this coming season whether u like it or not expecially to other teams. If your point is true then so be it. The rockets arent exactly a good team at the moment
Yeah I know but it is depressing that we can only contest a summer league title while others are going to the Finals or winning Finals MVP or MVP trophies.
Until Michael Beasley fills a role on a winning team, he can play summer league. He as much talent as any player in the NBA.
Bakumanya has the potential to be a pretty good 3 and D type player. Of course there are questions about his age.
He REALLY has to do something I am just bubbling with the idea that he is a COMPLETE AND TOTAL BUST!! He has to show SOMETHING and show it soon else I will be uber pissed at his pick all over agian Rocket River
Heard on the radio that Beasley VOLUNTEERED to play on the summer league squad. Rockets management did not ask or is forcing him to go. It was Beasley's own decision.
We have no idea if the Rockets, Morey, D'Antoni talked with Beasley and told him how they envision him working in the offense and want him to work on a few things say like running a PnR, his 3 pt shot, rebounding, etc. Maybe after his exit interview he realize there are still some weaknesses that he wants to test out some. We have no idea why Beasley is out there until we watch the games or someone tells, so stop making stuff up and presuming someone forced something. Also, I have no idea where this poster got his sources, but the restrictions he posts sound too detailed and realistic to be made up. They would also point to how Beasley had to agree or volunteer to go. Spoiler https://m.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/29onxt/are_there_any_rules_or_restrictions_for_veteran/
Why do people act like total jackasses about Dekker? The man needed back surgery before D-League started last year, he played like two pre season games aready injured, had surgery came back at the end of the season to play his very first non injured competive games since college im the dleague, and people are just HOT to call him a worthless bust because he didn't play well... You people got to be kidding me, it would be insane for him to play well, and expecting otherwise is nonsesnse... but not only do a lot of you expect otherwise, yall go arround chanting he's a bust just screaming "im an idiot who doesn't understand sports, injuries and how rookies transition into the league". This next year will be Dekkers true rookie season, I would hold judgment of a player until at least his SECOND year, I don't expect Dekker to be ready to contribute until next year, and thats if he stays healthy and is 100%. Dont forget, Dmo looked like the biggest bust his first two seasons, Capela played some of the worst basketball iv ever seem until the very end of his rookie season. You have to give the rookies time. Im not saying Dekker wont end up being a bust, because he could turn out to be one, but to judge him now is just plain stupid.
