It doesn't help that any time they can get away from a Rockets interview they start flapping their gums about the Texans/Titans/Oilers drama.

Wow. Could not believe how terrible that 790 broadcast was. The 610/Rockets relationship must have been pretty bad to join that radio station. Maybe it was just that particular radio host, but I would hope that they do the Rockets better justice than that this year.
I think it's the host. Matt Thomas was a PA announcer for the Rockets but that was over a decade ago. He doesn't have any emotional investment with this team. Put Wex, Matt or Lance in place of Matt and it turns into a professional interview (maybe not Lance lol). Wes especially. Thomas was unprepared, uninterested, un-funny and just annoying with his stupid questions. "What we're you eating whe you heard you got traded?" I would have taken my headphones off and walked away
Lance doesn't know anything about basketball dude...I respect you guys opinions but y'all are so wrong about MT...Wex is prolly the better option but he just did 4 hers in the AM
Maybe it was also the stupidity of the callers they were letting through. Seriously, they were jam packed with Rockets interviews, and they are going to take a call from some guy with a 3rd grade education drop f-bombs on their show about the Titan's/Oilers/Houston days right then and there. I love Houston, but man there are some strange characters there.
I'll give 790 a break because this is their first Rockets media day ever. Hopefully they can get their act together but as a fan of the station I was embarrassed. My Rockets deserve more frankly.
Charlie is the only decent host and at least seems to be semi enthusiastic about bball related talk in that whole radio IMHO.
Dunno, duder. I can only assume that countdown is for when they actually start airing whatever the hell they did today on TV... and on CSN Houston's (@CSNHouston) twitter, they said they'd announce what channel it actually is for us Comcast users by this past friday (9/28) but I don't see them mentioning it by then or after.
