    I'm not much into extending a coach unless i think he's really that good but, i guess the Rockets think Mike is that good, hopefully they're right and it's not going to cost Tilman more money :D

    I saw 'Rockets and D'An' on the home page, and eagerly clicked here hoping it said Rockets and D'Antoni part ways.

    You can understand my frustration now.

    The next assistant coach could be the future coach of the Rockets. If D'Antoni doesn't accept an assistant coach that most likely handpicked by Tillman, Morey and Associates, they probaly won't offer him an extension. I'd be shocked if D'Antoni hand picks the next assistant coach, if they are even looking for one.

    The assistant coach taking the hit as the "fall guy" makes no sense whatsoever. Really strange approach, probably he was going to retire and they ran with that to show they are changing stuff up.

    This is so awful...

    Rockets only want to sell tickets, not championship if this is true.

    If you really watched playoffs games, you know how Incompetent coach MDA is.

    MDA not only can't develop young players, but also knows nothing about adjustments.

    If this is true, goodbye championship.
