I believe he immediately preceded Calvin (or was it Tom Nissalke?). He had been battling cancer, the Houston Chronicle reported. McLemore led the Bulldogs in both scoring and rebounding in 1962-63 and 1963-64. McLemore was a third-round pick by San Francisco in 1964 and played for five additional NBA teams in his career. The 6-foot-7, 235-pound forward was a reserve for 1970-71 NBA champion Milwaukee.
