My apologies if this has been posted. Wanted to make note of this as McCoy was the color man for HSE for several years back in the 80s. I believe he immediately preceded Calvin (or was it Tom Nissalke?).

    Anyway, RIP McCoy.

    McCoy McLemore dies at 67

DRAKE: Former Drake men's basketball player and Houston Rockets broadcaster McCoy McLemore died Thursday at age 67. He had been battling cancer, the Houston Chronicle reported.

McLemore led the Bulldogs in both scoring and rebounding in 1962-63 and 1963-64.

McLemore was a third-round pick by San Francisco in 1964 and played for five additional NBA teams in his career. The 6-foot-7, 235-pound forward was a reserve for 1970-71 NBA champion Milwaukee.
