Rick Adelman was better than JVG and D'antoni combined

Correct.

 

Rick had some questionable late game rotations but he was a great strategist overall.

Regardless, Rick is retired.

 

I bet Adelman could design a MEAN system with and around Harden.

 

rick was a great coach, and got a lot out of his players. made many role player's shine so that morey could flip them to other teams and trade up.

he brought the rockets a high powered offense, i think we were the top scoring team in the league couple years under rick's tenure. many of our games were in the 120's... not much defense because we didnt have a lot of great defensive players. rick's teams were fun to watch, no ball hogging and a lot of passing involved.

ill say that he was pretty stuborn at times and wouldnt sub players, especially during the end he always stuck with players he trusted. mchale seemed to improvise a little more or give it to the hot hand more often. if adelman trusted a player, that was it. if he didnt trust a player they wont get to see the court much no matter the talent.

 

don't worry. tinmac gets fact checked and his mistakes get exposed repeatedly on here. he takes lots of L's.
