Where does Damian Lillard rank to you? EDIT: Sorry I misspelled his last name. Would appreciate mod's help to correct it.
I used to think he'd be a top 2 pg in the league, but I havent see him stepping up to that level over the last few seasons. But, these playoffs he's been playing at an elite level. Without thinking too hard about it, I could see an argument for him being top 10 in the NBA at the moment (no way top five though).
Top 10/12 i'd say, guys i still consider better players in random order: Durant Lebron Jokic Harden George Curry Giannis Kawhi Butler Davis But i have no problems if you pick him over George, Butler, Davis and Jokic, i think that's fair. On a side note, i used to think Dame was much better than CJ in the past, but now i'm not really sure, i mean, i do think he's overall better than CJ, but not by much, CJ really grown on me over these last two seasons.
I’d take him over Butler, so I guess top 10 since I can’t think of anyone else. Funny how he’s consensus over Westbrook now.
Westbrook is interesting. Kyrie is also interesting. Did Kyrie ride the coattails of Lebron or is he actually great? I also wonder what Curry would've done in a franchise like Portland if they were swapped. Would he still win 2 MVPs and multiple rings?
He is at least as good as Steph Curry, if not better. Imagine how the narrative would have changed if Lilliard led the Warriors to three championships and Curry was stuck in Portland with first round exits.
