Assuming Anderson and Gordon's deals are ascending rather than descending (which is no guarantee), we still have about 9.2m in cap to spend. Not many notable free agents left, but I think 9m might be enough to bring Llull over. That would be a pretty fun team to watch offensively.
Dmo can be signed using bird rights. If we renounce his rights and let him go, we could have upwards of 15 million in space.
Use rest of money for Moe Harkless and I'll he satisfied Beverley/Goudelock/Peyton Harden/Gordon/Brewer Ariza/Harkless Anderson/Dmo/Beasley Capela/Nanu
Brewer is now making peanuts, so not imperative but would like to move him if a roster spot is needed. I think he'll be fine in a MDa system as a slasher and runner. I really think KJ excels in this run and gun though. Hes like a Marion lite.
The only reason the Rockets tendered an offer to Motiejunas and not Jones is because they thought Motiejunas might have some trade value, whereas Jones doesn't have much. Motiejunas was ranked as the 41st best FA. Jones didn't crack the top 100. I'm still lobbying for Boban Marjanovic. You may have seen that in other threads already. In most polls he's ranked as the 35th best FA. Boban Marjanovic had the third highest Player Efficiency Rating this past season: 1. Curry 2. Durant 3. Marjanovic 4. Westbrook League rules say that Marjanovic can't receive more that 5 Million next year and San Antonio can match any offer, but you can backload a deal like Houston did to get Lin from NY. I'd backload a deal for 20 Million a year for 3 or 4 years. It's a high risk, but what if he is the third best player in the league? Do you let SA get to keep him another year for 2 Million?
A little surprised I'm saying this, but with the moves today, there's a ray of light shining down on a Rubio trade.
Nice chart, I hope you keep it current as the off-season progresses. I think you have DMo's cap hold of $5,720,513.00 instead of his qualifying offer since its the cap hold that counts against the salary cap.
