Morey could instantly improve the roster significantly if he wanted to. Until he gets a second superstar, he's limiting himself to only players on rookie deals or one year guaranteed deals. Once he gets a second star, the pool of players he can choose from to put around them becomes so much larger. to now include free agents that demand more than one guaranteed year. That's why losing PPat was no big deal long term. Morey can find guys like that in free agency relatively easily.
Tony Allen has good hands around the basket, but the moment you get him to shoot more than 10 feet out, you can build a house with his bricks.
PG Bev/Lin(6th man)/Brooks SG Harden/James Andersen SF Parsons/Terrence Jones PF LMA/DMO C Dwight/Asik
I know a lot of ppl got Brooks there but tbh if I was him, I wouldn't take a 3rd string role. Finding a team that will allow him to start or at least have more playing time should be his priority. He's a vet who's shown what he can do. It would be interesting if say Lin was traded in some deal, like for Howard. How would the Rockets deal with Bev and Brooks? Initial reaction is to allow Bev to start but I can see Brooks getting more time if Bev falters.
