I will say this would hurt my father-in-law. For some reason he stalks the postal delivery person and starts checking about every 15 minutes later in the afternoon. Maybe it's because he's retired and has nothing to do in quarantine? It is amazing to watch.
Didn't Putin "win" his re-election back in 2014 or 15 by basically controlling to mail process of how their votes came in? I think it showed like 80% for Putin or something crazy like that.
What Trump doesn't realize is that not having mail in voting will hurt the GOP. In many previous elections absentee ballots have benefited Republicans. Many elderly voters especially in FL use mail in voting. Given how Republicans are skewing older this could be costly. Further the reasoning that because Trump voters are more enthusiastic than Democrats and are more willing to go out and vote hasn't actually been tested. We saw in WI that Democrats were very willing to go out and wait often for hours to vote and in the contested WI SC election the favored candidate of the Republicans was soundly defeated.

It is so crazy to have our executive branch so actively working to limit voting and democracy, and there is no push back by Republicans
I'm pretty sure a lot of vets especially in rural regions with space population density depended on the USPS for medication. Fortunately for me I have a VA clinic near me if I need to refill but many vets especially in very sparely populated areas don't have that luxury. Also many older vets can't drive and rely on medication being mailed to them. You want to reconsider your statement?
President Donald Trump on Thursday told Fox Business that he will continue to block aid to the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), publicly acknowledging that doing so would undermine states’ plans to expand mail-in voting for Election Day. “They need that money in order to have the Post Office work, so it can take all of these millions of ballots,” he told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on Thursday. “If they don’t get those two items, that means you can’t have universal mail-in voting. Because they’re not equipped.” Which begs the question... How many letters does the Post Office handle every day? The first google hit Spoiler The Postal Service processes and delivers 472.1 million mail pieces each day. Our POTUS is stupid. Our POTUS has a careless disregard for facts.
If him and his supporters feel that he is going to win with ease why is he doing so much to suppress voters.
