I posted this in the other "Post Game Analysis Thread"...

    WOOOO WE DID IT!!!!

Things I noticed this game that I have been screaming for all series:

    1) Ron had to be more assertive: Last couple of games he's kind of just dropped into the background, going with the flow of the offense and being more passive than aggressive. Granted he would still jack up a shot every once and awhile tonight he was in attack mode and went after the rim.

    2) A way to counter the fronting of Yao, is to drive baseline!: When they front Yao, they leave the backside (the paint area) wide open. If the man making the entry pass cant get the ball to yao cause he's being fronted, just drive it baseline, cause naturally the defender who is fronting will get sealed off by Yao as the play develops towards the baseline due to his fronting position. I saw Ron and Aaron do this a couple of times and they had easy access to the rim.

    3) Greg Oden is Benjamin Button: He battled Yao pretty well positioning wise but other than that, I feel pretty bad for him. He's under so much scrutiny and you can tell he's still raw on the offensive end...fumbling the ball off his feet, missing dunks haha

Congrats to Rafer as well making it to the second round!

Finally we made it, after all these year!!! What a relief!! If everyone plays within the systme, we still have a chance to beat LA.

Look at the scratches on Yao's forearm in the after game press conference. Jeez, what a vicious battle.

What did Yao say? My chinese is very limited. Seems he said to the reporters not to write carelessly and wrongly what he was about to say

I have to offer this view. I moved to Houston last January from Scotland and I came with a positive view of basketball despite only playing soccer in my younger days.

I have since built a love for the Rockets that is hard to explain. even Im surprised how much the games mean. Im just back from game 6 and I feel so proud of the rockets that I have to try and explain that a 30 year old Scotsman can fall in love with basketball yet have no prior experience.

    Lets go Rockets!
