Golden State better not shut him down tonight. We'll see how committed Pau is to this. If he really cares, he will push and have a big game.

It would be funny if Pau breaks Wilt's record and gets over 100 points.

Donate $1000 for each shot Kobe takes once he comes back and I will be impressed.

He's on my fantasy team. I hope he's donating $30,000 by the end of the night.

Cool gesture no matter what, but this is gonna end up being $30k max, more likely around $15k.

    Comparatively, Stephon Marbury's (known) donations:

In 2001, Stephon donated $250,000 of the money derived from Pepsi sponsorships to help victims of September 11.

In 2005, Marbury donated between $500,000 and $1,000,000 to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.

In 2007, Stephon donated $4,000,000 to New York City, $1,000,000 each to the NYPD, FDNY, EMT, and New York City Teacher's Fund.

BTW, $15k for Pau would be equivalent to a little over 31 bucks for the average Joe making $40k/yr.

btw, 15k for the average phillipines sufferer who needs help would not be equivalent to a little over 31 bucks from the average Joe.

Hm, you make a solid point. Didn't think of it from that angle. Strong post/username ratio.

What the hell are you people judging the amount he's donating for? Honestly? Money is still money. He could do a lot with $15,000. How much has any of us donated?

Stop criticizing/questioning someone that's willing to donate. At least he's putting in effort and doing what he can to help. Man.. People these days.

Damn, Pau is going nuts tonight. If this is the result, he should pledge money every game.

Not sure how this can get any criticism, whether or not you are a fan of Pau. It's not just his 20-25k but the people who will donate because of this with his twitter, etc.
