Anybody thought actually deluded themselves into thinking this team was actually good is probably frequently disappointed in life. This team is improved, and on the right track, but still a bad baseball team.

Quick, nerds ... What's Zobrist's lifetime BA versus Astros pitching? I mean, seriously. Even though we lose 100 games a year, & that guy hits like .250 every year ... He tears us up. Even if it IS meaningless.
He's probably safe... but replays like this are annoying since even on super slow mo, you can't really tell for sure.
Ben Zobrist has been great player against everybody, not just us. If you must know he has a .284 BA and a .798 OPS against us, which are slightly above his overall numbers, but nothing remarkable. Losing him really turned out to be a terrible trade, one of our all time worst. And he was clearly out from that last angle.
Hey, thanks! You got that right! Watta horrendous trade. Who'd we get? Shiddy Aubrey Huff for like two months? Oy vey ...
I think it made sense at the time but obviously in hindsight we would have been a lot better off keeping Zobrist.
Speaking of Aubrey Huff - He looks like the OLD Beefeater bottle. Check it out! & the new Beefeater bottle looks like coach Cowher:
This loss is 100% on Bo Porter, barring a miraculous comeback. Singleton hits lefties better than righties. Bedard gives up hits to lefties more than righties. So naturally, Porter sits Singleton in favor of journeyman trash Jesus Guzman. The one positive Guzman is SUPPOSED to provide is solid defense, yet he blows back-to-back plays that easily could've ended the inning and prevented runs from scoring. Absolutely infuriating.
AND there's an off day tomorrow, so he can't justify it by saying he needed a day off. Absolutely sickens me when he sits Singleton due to a lefty starting.
Singleton has 2 hits in his last 20 at bats with 10 k's. It's perfectly reasonable to give him a day off.
