5 homers in his last 50 at bats. Nice.

The special ones really do have the ability to single-handedly make a difference in these games.

Really hope this team can get the other potential difference-makers up here ASAP and give this city something to really get behind for the next 5+ years. I'm sure Krauss and Pressley are decent guys... but their auditions are just about up.

And just like that, Springer is now tied for second on the team in HR's and is right behind Altuve for the lead in slugging (which he should be able to take over handedly).

So we have a legitimate top of the order. That's pretty awesome, now biding time until Singleton gets here.

Oberholtzer has received about as much run support today as he has all his other starts combined.

    It's really nice to see.

Excited to get Singleton up as well...having these guys with extra pop in their bats is going to be fun to watch.

Awesome 2 HR game by Springer tonight. Hopefully his first of many in the Majors.

The future is bright as ****.

Hoping we're a surprise team next year, but 2016 and onward are gonna be fun as hell. I'm perfectly fine picking up one final top (3) pick along the way.

I always repeat this, but, as crappy as Ed Wade was/was perceived to be, don't forget that Springer/Altuve/Singleton/Santana/Cosart were all on his watch (and I guess we're on the verge of adding Keuchel to that list too). He left us with some key pieces on the way out.

I wouldn't mind seeing the team trade Feldman, just so we can give the all the starts to Cosart, Oberholtzer, Keuchel, McHugh, & Peacock.

Altuve was actually Purpura, but point taken. I'd add Castro to that list as well.

LOL, was thinking Russ Springer from yesteryear.

Keep up the good work, George!!

Altuve now hitting well over .300... our lineup is starting to look respectable.
