Why is Carter playing today? No Lowrie.

It sucks that we are going to be facing Gray in both A's series. Hopefully we can put some runs up against him to solidify Keuchel's Cy Young.

I think K is way in front for the Cy Young award. He has won 3 out of 5 months best pitcher, plus 17 wins in a tough park for pitchers, plus his games are meaningful as we are fighting for a playoff spot while A's are in last place and he is pitching is a pitchers park.
Also K's whip and ERA are better.

The only positive K has over Gray is defense, our defense helps, the A's defense is one of worse in baseball.

Was this really necessary to post this as two posts? Can you calm down?

Until you do, I am adding you to my ignore list.

    BTW, WWW!

Kazmir outduels Gray to get back on the right track.

My friend, when i wrote the first post, the LINEUP WERE NOT POSTED.

So yes, it had to be in 2 posts. When i saw the lineups, i made the comment about Carter. Now, do you like Carter on the lineup in the pennant race? I prefer Valbuena even tough is a lefty because at least we have defense at 1b. (I am saying Valbuena as i think Lowrie is getting a day off).

I would prefer to give the day off tomorrow, why? Because is a righty pitching and we have more lefties as subs.

All it does is fuel him to post even more man. Just ignore him, it's the only way to possibly slow him down

He is like Michael, you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him

Astros have clear pitching advantage in 2 of 3, and even matchup in the middle game. I'd take 2 out of 3, this would be a great time for another great road trip like the one that got us the lead in the first place though. The pitching is there and has been there, Springer/Altuve/Correa/Gomez haven't been together much....it's time for a big run to the finish line!

Vogt was injured yesterday, will not play today, he is day to day, but may miss the series.

Payback time. The gregerson blown save last time still stings.

Why is Gomez playing CF and batting 4th and Marisnick in LF and batting 9th? Marisnick is at least in the lineup after the homer yesterday but Jed sits. Two baby steps forward one baby step back.

Lowrie continues to recover. He has to have the occasional day off.

Incredible that Carter still gets starts this late in the season in the midst of a pennant race. Oh well, hopefully he'll shut this naysayer up.

Wish it was coming against a RHP, so Valbuena would be out there instead of Carter, plus Tucker/Rasmus to help make up for the loss in offense.

I don't mind Lowrie taking a day off, I would had preferred the day off tomorrow instead, as we could had move Marwin to 3b and Valbuena to 1b instead of Marwin and CArter as it is today.

Also, right now Lowrie is very hot at the plate, last 7 games .385 average, .448 OBP and .885 slugging
