Not to pee in anyone's Post Toasties, but bear in mind it took Springer a month to adjust. While I am looking forward to seeing Singleton, I am reserving high expectations for a while.
What I'm looking for for Singleton, is just solid approaches at the plate. Draw a walk here and there, take a few pitches and get the pitch you want, those kind of at bats. Back to the series...McHugh! Love watching him pitch...ERA down to 2.80, let's lower it a bit more tonight.
MLB Online has the Astros/Angels as the free game of the day so if you're in Houston you'll be able to watch it tomorrow. ha
Damn Springer.....chased that one. Nice start having the first 2 men on....but gotta get one home. And lucked out on not having back to back HR's by the Angels in the first.
Its an odd angle... runner and 2B were directly in line....Which side do you throw it to? One bad throw and its 2nd and 3rd nobody out vs. 1st and 2nd.
Springer needs to shorten his swing more when men are on base. They are starting to off speed him death and he is falling for it.
