Can we stop acting like Westbrook has been playing at an MVP level the past 3-4 years...he has not. There are so many other point guards I would take on this team over him. He was out played by Rondo. The fact is Harden can't do it by himself...the end. But Harden asked for this dumb trade as well. Tilman then forced this trash trade. Now Chris Paul is gone and so is Dantoni.
I'm not telling you what Westbrook is or isn't, merely repeating what the organization from tillman to harden was telling you. That the rockets were contenders, Westbrook a former mvp and harden a former mvp were the best duo in the nba. Did they all believe it 100%. Probably/maybe not, but they sure as hell expected better than barely competing and exiting in 5 games of the 2nd round.
